Back Home from the Eastcoast. Here are some sketches, street sketching out around town with ink, and Kremer watercolors on charted paper.

Commercial Fishing Days

New work from this spring, 100 sumi ink drawings from my days commercial fishing in Alaska. These were all people I fished with and boats I fished on. The salmon boat was the Marvel, my own 32" troller.The Longliners were the schooner Arrow and the Memories. Sumi ink, 3" x6", some collaged surface with old navigation charts.

The Presses are Rolling.....

I've taken a little breather from the Hospital Heritage Mural project to do some linocuts. With not much printing experience, I'm learning something new with each one. All small about 4" x 6"-ish. I've been reading a lot about printmakers over at Linosaurus, well researched blog by Gerrie in Holland.
